Little girl, but always baby to me.
Aubrielle dove into the Terrible Two's well before her 2nd birthday. It started with temper tantrums and exploded into ridiculous diva sass. Thankfully miss sassy pants only comes out a few times a day, else I guarantee I would not be writing this now. I would be downing margaritas and large amounts of chocolate instead.
My sweet girl sleeps 12 hours at night and when she wakes up she is smiles and crazy hair. She snuggles with me telling me how much she loves me...and her chocolate milk.
Her curiosity often gets the best of me, (toothpaste painting in the bathroom, opening childproof medicine just to name a few from this week) but I'm learning to cherish those moments. One day in the too near future I'll be wishing she was still in diapers and dancing to Barney.
She loves everything girly- tutus, dresses, shoes, purses, makeup, jewelry. The first thing she does when we get home is strips down to her diaper and puts on a skirt and princess heels. Yes, even though it's winter and disgustingly cold. She is ALL girl. That being said, she refuses to let anyone touch her hair. I can count the number of times she has worn a barrette or ponytail on one hand.
She is a picky eater, as most kids are at this age. Spaghetti, shepherds pie, chicken nuggets, mac n cheese, PB&J, grilled cheese, yogurt, cheese, fruits, cucumbers, cereal- that's about it. She does love fruit snacks, chips and pretzels too- but I'm trying desperately to limit that.
She melts my heart every single day.
I can't wait to share stories of life with my crazy toddler now that I am finally back on a roll.
My next post will be catching everyone up with me! I'm 24 and a mom of two....what?!
